BECOME A BUSKER

CLOSED 2024 Season

Anyone interested in providing a donation-based performance or activation (E.g.- a yoga session or a children’s activity) must be approved by Market Management and Staff and comply with the rules and regulations of the Baltimore Farmers’ Market. 

-Once onsite Buskers must check in with Market Management to be assigned a performance location

-Performances must be “radio friendly” and cannot begin until 9 am

-No amplification will be allowed, all performances must be acoustic

-Performers are not permitted to set prices or require a set donation fee

-Performances cannot interfere with the communication or sales of vendors (including- volume level, crowd formation, etc)

-No electricity or parking will be provided or reserved

-Set up must be walked in (a small cart or wagon is recommended), tents are not allowed, but an umbrella for shade is permitted

-Performers are responsible for preparing themselves and their equipment for a variety of weather conditions

-A busking license that does not override the rules set forth by the BFM or the permits related to the operation of the Market. It is at the sole discretion of the Market Management to determine placement or attendance at the Market

-It is not a requirement to submit an official application, but all performances and activations must be approved by Market Management and Staff. If you would like to be included in vendor updates, please provide the Market Manager with your contact information

-There is no fee to attend, or performance schedule for Buskers

-Market Management reserves the right to remove a Busker from the Market or end a performance at anytime
